Outreach Programmes under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

The Programme saw participation from more than 50 officials of Banks, Housing Finance Companies (HFC)s, RRBs etc.

More than 80 officials from Banks, Housing Finance Companies (HFC)s, RRBs, Small Finance Banks, State Housing Nodal agencies, etc., having presence in the State of Gujarat, participated in the Outreach Programme.

More than 60 officials from Banks, Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), RRBs, Small Finance Banks etc., having presence in the State of Rajasthan, participated in the Outreach Programme.

Participants included senior officials & Regional Heads from Banks, HFCs, RRBs & SFBs.

The Programme saw participation from 70 officials of Public & Private Sector Banks, Housing Finance Companies and Regional Rural Banks.

The programme saw active participation of more than 90 officials from Housing Finance Companies, Public Sector Banks, Private Sector Banks, Small Finance Banks and Regional Rural Banks.

The event was attended by more than 120 officials from various Scheduled Commercial Banks and Housing Finance Companies.

The need for Financial Institutions to come together and work with synergy to ensure easy access of formal housing finance to the underserved sector. All the participants reiterated their commitment to contribute to the housing and housing finance sector in the country and make “Housing for All” a reality across all the sections of the society.

The event was graced by representative from State Government of Assam besides MD, NHB and more than 15 senior officials from HFCs. Various issues and challenges pertinent to the Housing sector in the state of Assam and in the country was discussed.

The event was graced by senior officials from State Government , RBI besides MD, NHB and more than 20 senior officials from HFCs. Various issues and challenges pertinent to the Housing sector in the state of Chhattisgarh and in the country was discussed.

“Measures to prevent Fraud in Financial Sector” event was conducted for HFCs, RRBs and SFBs with 35-40 attendees.

The event on ‘Housing and Housing Finance’ held meaningful discussions on addressing the challenges of housing and housing finance with focus on the State of West Bengal. 30 Officials from various HFCs attended the program.

The Programme on ‘Project Finance Scheme’ was conducted with officials of Municipal Corporations and Development Authorities. The Programme was attended by around 25 officials from Public Agencies.

The event on ‘Housing Finance’ was attended by more than 15 officials of various HFCs.

The event on ‘Housing Finance and UIDF’ was attended by around 55 senior officials from various ULBs, Banks, and HFCs were present during the event.

Kolkata Regional Office organized an Outreach Program on, “Housing and Housing Finance-West Bengal”. The event was graced by Zonal Head, IIBF, Eastern Zone along with officials from NHB. Officials from 10 HFCs , 01 SCB & 02 RRBs participated in the event.

Jaipur Regional Office organized an Outreach Program on “Overview & Future Prospects of Housing and Housing Finance in Rajasthan’’ & ‘ KYC-AML’. The event was graced by Ms. Pragya Sharma , UBI. Officials from HFCs ,SFBs & Co-op. Banks participated in the event.

Bhopal Regional Office conducted an Outreach program on Project Finance schemes of NHB & UIDF at Bhopal. The event was graced by Sh.B Yadav,IAS, Commissioner,UADD & senior officials of UADD. More than 500 officials of various ULBs of MP also joined the event virtually.

Lucknow Regional Office organized an Outreach Programme for HFCs on “Challenges in Housing Finance – Customer Satisfaction Measure”. 25 officials from various HFCs attended the event.

Raipur Regional Office organized an Outreach Programme for HFCs on ‘Creating Awareness on the Compliances of the Provisions of the RERA Act’. 30 officials from 20 HFCs attended the event.

Mumbai Regional Office organized an Outreach Program on ‘ Housing & Housing Finance & Importance of Know Your Customer Policy ‘. The event was attended by 50 officials from 19 HFCs.

Kolkata Regional Office organized a program on “Recent Developments in the Housing Finance Sector”. Officials from 12 HFCs, 1 SCB & 02 RRBs participated in the event.

Hyderabad Regional Office hosted an Outreach Programme on “Credit Risk Management with special focus on Affordable Housing” at Hyderabad. The event was attended by more than 45 officials from 30 HFCs.

Guwahati Regional Office organized an Outreach Programme on “Credit Flow for Housing Sector in India” & “Importance of KYC”. 10 Officials from HFCs & RRBs attended the event.

The Programme on ‘Challenges & Opportunities in Housing Sector in state of Bihar’ was conducted with officials of Housing Finance Companies. The Programme was attended by around 15 officials from various HFCs.

The programme on ‘Challenges in Housing Finance – Grievance Redressal and Fair Practice”. The programme was attended by 25 officers from various HFCs.

The programme on ‘association with Mizoram Rural Bank (MRB) regarding ‘Financial Awareness & Financial Literacy’

The programme on ‘the theme “Unlocking Potential: Housing Finance as a Catalyst for North-East Development”.

The programme on ‘Financial Literacy and Awareness’ at Khetri, Assam in association with Assam Gramin Vikash Bank.

The Outreach Program on Housing and Housing Finance in West Bengal – Opportunities & Challenges vis-à-vis India was conducted with officials of Housing Finance Companies. 14 Officials from 10 HFCs attended the programme.

As a part of NHB’s ongoing initiative to promote financial literacy among students, Kolkata Regional Office of the Bank, organized an outreach program aimed to introduce Financial Literacy & Fraud Prevention concepts amongst the students. The program was organized at Jodhpur Park Girl’s High School on September 11, 2025 and saw participation from more than 50 Secondary & Sr. Secondary students at the school. The program was interactive and engaging with real life case studies been shared during the course of presentation.

Guwahati Regional Office – Workshop was conducted with all the stakeholders regarding Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) Disbursement Process, documents required and Process Flow on 12.11.2025.
