Weizmann Homes Limited having its registered office at Mumbai and corporate office at Bangalore has changed its name to AIG Home Finance India Limited, the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai, on October 18, 2007 has accordingly, issued a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent upon change of name under section 23(1) of the Companies Act, 1956. Accordingly, National Housing Bank has cancelled the Certificate of Registration dated July 31, 2001 issued to "Weizmann Homes Limited" and issued a fresh Certificate of Registration dated February 13, 2008 under section 29A of the National Housing Bank Act, 1987 to"AIG Home Finance India Limited".
