Proper understanding of the legal environment in which an organization is functioning is sine qua non for its success. In case of housing, this aspect has added importance as there are number of laws enacted by Union and the State which, directly or indirectly, affect this activity. Several initiatives have been taken in the recent past to liberalize the legal and regulatory regime to give a boost to housing. It is the endeavour of NHB to disseminate the understanding and knowledge pertaining to legal framework in housing and discuss the issues faced in the sector by the Primary Lending Institutions so that necessary policy initiatives can be taken to overcome the same.

Accommodation has been arranged from June 23, 2010 (afternoon) till June 26, 2010 (forenoon). Stay arrangements are being made on twin-sharing basis. The arrangements will include bed-tea, breakfast, conference lunch with two tea/coffee breaks and dinner. The expenses for the above shall be borne by NHB. Expenses on extra food and beverages other than those mentioned above, laundry charges, telephone calls etc., if any, will have to be borne by the participants separately and the bills settled with the hotel authorities before checking out.
